A pinch of smile,

goes a long way,

lifts me up and above,

makes me sway,

But all you had,

all you could give,

was nothing but a smile,

and for that

Words with dedication

failed to fly at all,

in hopes to reconquer,

ones I left in the past,

a journey began,

to get your now,

back I ran,

desperate and broken,

nothing I knew,

you, your bitter ends,

your reasons for askew,

I couldn't ask you,

 

Digging trails of yesterday,

hoping to find,

me and the me in you,

the sole reason of faults,

-LOST-

no hints, no clue,

a mistake and a pointing finger,

something important,

I can't remember,

from memories far apart and few,

I can't remember being hurt,

I can't remember hurting you.
